Ink Painting

Chinese ink painting is one of the oldest artistic traditions still practised today. The style originated in the Han Dynasty, and was considered one of ‘The Four Arts’ of Chinese Scholars and Officials.

The focus of the artwork can be a portrait, landscape or a bird and flower image. The painting is done with a brush dipped in black ink or coloured pigments, most commonly on silk or rice paper.

Your finished work can be mounted on scrolls, & you will leave with a unique keepsake and new creative skills!
